The
6,150-square-foot restaurant at 3252 Northeast First Avenue
was previously occupied by Apeiro Kitchen & Bar,
which closed its doors after less than a year. It also includes
a 3,500-square-foot patio space.
Tap 42,
owned and operated by Tapco Restaurant Group, is primarily financed by
a $2.5 million loan from EB-5 funding, as The Real Deal reported last
July. Another Tap 42 location opened in Coral
Gables last year, also
with the help of EB-5 funds.
The
outdoor area in Midtown offers covered patio dining as well as a social
gathering space. In addition to having 42 craft beers on tap,
the menu also offers selections like a Rainbow Sushi Bowl and Spicy
Salmon Tostones.
